Emerging from social and cultural influences our clothes speak stories from everyday life, combining form and structure with beautifully woven textiles in Natural fibers. Subtle yet distinct prints are an intrinsic part of our collections and form the DNA of the Label. Artisanal techniques elevated with the use of modern technology helps the label establish its relevance whilst staying rooted in our ancestral craftsmanship.
Elemental to the Label’s ideology is the timelessness of every design, vested in the beliefs of the designer, Sneha Arora herself, who started the label with the vision to create ‘Love Forever’ pieces of clothing. Raised in Kolkata, the city’s strong intellectual background and heritage have had a great influence on her design process and philosophy.
Graduated from NIFT, Kolkata, and thereafter having worked with a domestic retail giant Arora’s eponymous Label came into being in 2012. In 2013 Sneha Arora won the Grazia Young Fashion Award for the Breakthrough Label of the year. In 2014 she was selected by Not Just a Label UK as the ‘Future of Fashion’ along with four other designers globally. Her fine eye for detail and simplicity of design practice is reflected in our line of clothing.
It's our constant effort to strengthen our foundations with sustainable business practices and fair trade. We try to source our fabrics ethically directly from the weavers and mills or reputable wholesalers. We ensure minimum wastage in the cutting process and attempt to recycle the maximum of our fabric waste. We have also completely precluded the use of plastic in our packaging and garment trims.
Every piece is handcrafted by a skilled artisan and takes hours of production time. We urge you to value its making and wear it many many times.
